Was messing around with my server today and found out the hard way that little configuration issues can cause big issues. Had one of my roommates WordPress installs not showing the theme image elements and the theme page was not showing previews. After reverting to PHP 5.4, and other various log checking and such things, I found that it was just the face that the domain was not listed in the allow ones for hotlink protection… /sigh
Teach me to not check that next time…
At least I have the server on PHP 5.5 now and running smoothly with no issues on the sites so far.
Hate it when it is something so simple. Truly feels like a head slapping thing.
